Easily the best part of July 5th was the Dutchess County Bike Path. Taking a quieter route on a beautiful and well-maintained bike path felt great but that wasn't all, it ended with a fantastic view from the top of Walk Across the Hudson in Pougkeepsie. After all of that we were pretty hungry and stopped in a deli for lunch. On the way to the campground we toured the FDR Mansion overlooking the Hudson and posed for a photo sitting next to a statue of the president and his wife. We ended the day with swimming and then a delicious Trekker cooked curry and s'mores over a bonfire.
