NY-Montreal Trekkers Take Boat Up Lake George

Our day started this morning with a light breakfast, then a short ride to the Lake George Steamship Company, which was right across the street from our camp site. We boarded the Mohecan with our bikes, then set sail on the 32 mile trip up the glacial lake toward Ticonderoga. After we reached shore, we began a 28 mile ride North, which brought us over the new Champlain Bridge into the state of Vermont. After another 10 miles, we arrived  at our campsite at Button Bay State Park  Food group C made a delicious dinner of homemade buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, and banana boats for dessert. Tomorrow we will get an early start, to spend some time exploring Burlington.
