Yesterday, we bid farewell to Martha's Vineyard and continued on our
journey around the Cape. With most of our gear packed the night before, we were
focused to get back on the road.
We hopped on the ferry once again to get back to the main land. Once
we landed back in Woods Hole, we started our 30-mile trek to West Yarmouth. Our
ride under the sun began along the coast with views of the ocean, sand and
plenty of beachgoers. It was mostly smooth, on paved roads, and we wound through
some quiet coastal neighborhoods.
A short wrong turn added an extra couple miles to our journey, but we
made it to our hotel with plenty of time to enjoy the indoor pool. After eating
dinner together, we rode down the street to play mini golf. There were no
winners or losers in our game, as we decided to play just for fun.
Once back at the hotel, we took some time to wind down in the pool
and hot tub, and also in the game room. The hotel provided a very comfortable
shelter before continuing on to Brewster, where we will be camping out once
again.   -- Trip leaders Annise and Cory
