Ghost Adventures: Teen Treks Edition - New England Shore Trekkers

Today was the spookiest day of the trip yet. We awoke to a foggy morning in Newport and began a misty cliff walk. We walked down stairs to the cliffs (originally providing beach access for wealthy families) that had been rebuilt after the 1938 hurricane. As we stood on the cliffs we observed a spirit in the mist who sent a splash of water our way upon our sighting. Strong spiritual energy continued to follow us as we made our way to the Newport vineyard farmers market for delightful pastries and fresh veggies. After fueling up, we biked across Mt Hope bridge to Roger Williams University campus where we stopped for a satisfying lunch in A/C. We forged on through the heat to ride on a beautiful bike path bordering the water, and enjoyed some black raspberries and Dell’s frozen lemonade along the way. Our vibrations continued to channel strong energy, and we arrived at the Hilton... a Hilton. We started the day visiting significant places from the Gilded Age, and as we end in a cushy hotel in Providence, we are exploring themes of inequality and wonder what the ghosts of the Gilded Age may wish to teach us about the present moment?
