Allegheny Passage Trekkers Went White Water Rafting on Independence Day
Today we had an amazing day White Water rafting! All 6 of us were able to fit in 1 boat and set off on our adventure. We did 7 1/2 miles down the river facing all sorts of rapids and rock fields. We had one section called the Million Dollar Wave that was a stretch of wavy river that rocked us up and down. There were even long stretches of the river with no hazards where our professional guides said we were allowed to jump out and swim. We all got splashed repeatedly and went swimming to cool off in the hot day. The guides even gave us a lift back to the campsite with our bikes which was great because we were exhausted from all the fun we had. Trip leader Anna then rode back into town to get us some well earned pizza from the local restaurant
