The highlight of our first day (besides meeting and getting to know each other) was swimming in a beautiful lake. After jumping off the pier and paddling around a bit, we discovered that there were trees EVERYWHERE underwater. Since there are lots of mossy boulders around the campground, this lake (and the rocks) might have been left by a glacier!

Wompatuck State Park was the Days Destination for the Cape Cod Trekkers
The highlight of our first day (besides meeting and getting to know each other) was swimming in a beautiful lake. After jumping off the pier and paddling around a bit, we discovered that there were trees EVERYWHERE underwater. Since there are lots of mossy boulders around the campground, this lake (and the rocks) might have been left by a glacier!
