Lake Ontario Trekkers are Almost Around the Lake

Another day dodging the rain clouds on the Lake Ontario Trek. After hiding under a huge tent conveniently placed right when it started pouring yesterday, we continued our avoidance of rain by making it to Brockport before the late afternoon thunderstorms.

On our way here we stopped in Rochester for lunch out at Dogtown where the group tried various specialty hot dogs while I enjoyed a Rochester veggie garbage plate. Then we explored the abandoned tunnel in downtown which used to be the city's subway tunnel. We headed out of Rochester along the Erie Canal Trailway. Tonight we'll be staying at the Canal  Park in Holley.
