Across America Trekkers Enjoy Wisconsin Hospitality

August 1- We had a relaxed start to the morning in Fennimore, complete with our favorite breakfast: oatmeal! We rode out of town on a nice but short
lived tail wind. We rode along the Military Ridge Bike Trail for the entire rest of the day, enjoying the beautiful Wisconsin scenery far removed from the
sight and sound of traffic. We arrived in Mt Horeb sweaty and covered in dirt, where we were greeted by John's uncle Jim who showed us around town
on his bicycle. We stopped in at his boutique craft store, where we entertained ourselves by smelling a plethora of scented candles and finding
gifts! Uncle Jim led the way to his house shortly after so we could enjoy a true Wisconsin dinner of bratwurst and potato salad, topped off with
strawberry rhubarb pie. We popped in a movie and relaxed the rest of the night-such a treat!
