After nearly 500 miles of biking, our trek crossed the US-Canada
border two days ago and got into Montreal yesterday.
We had a blast along the way and are so grateful to the strangers who
helped us along the way, from the good samaritans who helped with bike repairs
to the folks who opened up their pool to us to the fellow cyclists who simply
shouted a friendly "hello" or "bonjour" in passing.
Today and tomorrow, we'll be exploring Montreal's bike paths,
museums, and cultural landmarks, though I suspect the highlight will be going to
a barbque at the house of Trekker Issac's parents! (Also thanks to Issac and
Kiran for being a resource for those of us looking to improve our faltering
French).
